Higher One CASHNet is coming to Washington State University as our new payment solution. Enterprise Systems is working with Finance and Administration to implement a new payment solution on campus. The CASHNet payment solution provides the following solutions.
Give students the option to make an in-person payment either in the business office. Our Cashiering solution enables campus departments to process “over-the-counter” payments or through our iPad mobile cashiering solution, streamlining the process into a one-step, one-stop transaction with easy back-office reconciliation.
Coming in the Spring of 2016, eBill, will provide students and parents/payers improved service via an automatedbill presentment and integrated processing functions..
With ePayment, students, parents and other authorized users will have an expanded the ability to view current balances, account activity and securely make payments over the web and on mobile clients. Services will be consolidated in an easy to use account portal via CashNets hosted ePayment solution.
WSU is replacing its existing departmental eCommerce infrastructure. This will provide an easy to use, secure platform for departments to use when needing to build eCommerce websites that process credit card transactions.
The CASHNet implementation began in May of this year and will be completed in May of 2016. Over the course of the next year different features of the product will be rolled out to campus. The CASHNet product will eventually replace the legacy point of sale product the university currently utilizes, eCheck system, and online credit card processing system.
